Desarrollo y análisis de usabilidad del sitio web de la Unidad Educativa Imbabura PCEI UNEDI

Abstract

El análisis de usabilidad de un sitio web trata de verificar que se cumplan normas y requerimientos previos, lo cual se traduce en efectividad, eficiencia y satisfacción del usuario. El sitio web de la Unedi se sometió a este análisis y se comprobó que el mismo cumplía en un alto porcentaje con estos criterios, aunque, había ciertos parámetros que no estaban acordes a la norma y se los debía mejorar. Estas apreciaciones fueron posibles gracias a la aplicación de técnicas de recopilación de información como la entrevista y el cuestionario. Los resultados obtenidos constituyen un referente que contribuye a mejorar el proceso de evaluación de la usabilidad y a mejorar la experiencia de los usuarios.

ABSTRACT

The usability analysis of a website tries to verify that the rules and prerequisites are met, which translates into effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction. The Unedi website underwent this analysis and it was found that it met a high percentage of these criteria, although there were certain parameters that were not in accordance with the standard and should be improved. These insights were possible thanks to the application of information gathering techniques such as the interview and the quizzes. The results obtained constitute a benchmark that contributes to improving the usability evaluation process and improving the user experience.
