Professional relevance of the Finance Degree of the University Quevedo State Technique. Ecuador

Abstract

University institutions require a high scientific level that allows them to prepare students capable of efficiently and effectively undertaking the tasks of the profession and who contribute to the scientific-technical development of humanity, as a global claim of today's society. The new Ecuadorian university to guarantee the quality of the training process of future professionals, takes into account the policies, strategic lines and goals of the government expressed in the National Development Plan, with specific objectives for life. Considering these requirements, the Bachelor of Finance aims to train highly qualified professionals, based on the growth of the financial sector. From this perspective, the objective of the article is specified: to base the formative validity of the Bachelor's degree in Finance from the Quevedo State Technical University, for which a qualitative-quantitative relevance study is carried out that includes the inductive-deductive, analytical - synthetic, as well as the survey technique. The relevance of this study lies in the need to make changes adjusted to the reality of Higher Education and the different academic offers, as well as to guarantee the strengthening of companies and their competitiveness, as an expression of the validity of the career.
