Importancia del estudio del costo ambiental en la Universidad Metropolitana de Ecuador

Abstract

El efecto negativo que tiene hoy en día la contaminación ambiental es muy difícil de detener. El desarrollo sostenible es un término que es debatido por especialistas de todo el mundo, es por ello que no bastan los esfuerzos que se realicen en aras de luchar contra ese mal. El uso de los recursos naturales debe ser con austeridad y este debe ser inferior a su renovación, de esta forma se conserva la humanidad para las futuras generaciones.La Universidad Metropolitana de Ecuador insiste en proteger el medio ambiente usando diferentes estrategias. La pertinencia de lacarrera de Ingeniería en Contabilidad y Auditoría es analizada en este trabajo a través dela asignatura Contabilidad de Costos I específicamente en la unidad del costo ambiental mediante el uso de una metodología cualitativa.Se muestran los resultados y el impacto que ha tenido en los estudiantes desarrollar estos contenidos, en función de la protección de los recursos naturales.

ABSTRACT

The negative effect that environmental pollution has today is very difficult to stop. Sustainable development is a term that is debated by specialists from all over the world, that is why the efforts made to fight against this evil are not enough. The use of natural resources must be with austerity and this must be inferior to its renewal, in this way humanity is preserved for future generations. The Metropolitan University of Ecuador insists on protecting the environment using different strategies. The relevance of the Engineering Degree in Accounting and Auditing is analyzed in this paper through the subject of Cost Accounting I specifically in the environmental cost unit through the use of a qualitative methodology. The results are shown and the impact that students have had on developing this content, based on the protection of natural resources.
