Abstract

The role and competence of the graduate who works in therapeutic physical culture is important and necessary because he/she is directly related to the physical rehabilitation process as a pedagogue and rehabilitator, in which he/she is responsible for manipulating and controlling the variables to be modified. The purpose of the study was to carry out a diagnosis of the needs of improvement on Marfan Syndrome, in order to know the deficiencies and needs of improvement of the graduates who work in therapeutic physical culture, and to contribute to their professional training. The study was divided into three phases: an initial diagnostic phase. The second phase of bibliographic review and elaboration of the action plan for training. And the last phase, where the diagnosis of training needs is applied again and the results are compared). This study was carried out from May 2023 to December 2024. The results show that theoretical deficiencies and professional development needs can be solved through the application of the development needs assessment. It is recommended to use the diagnosis of improvement needs to shape the training and continuing education plans of professionals.
