The psychometric properties of the Educational Innovation Observatory Questionnaire (COIE) are analyzed. It consists of four dimensions and 43 items with Likert-type or categorical responses. An instrumental study was conducted. The content validity was analyzed through expert judgment (N=6), obtaining Aiken's V values greater than .80. Then, 764 students from the master's program in secondary teacher training (78% aged between 25 and 40; 61% women) responded to the COIE. In the Innovative Methodologies dimension, satisfactory reliability was obtained (alpha=.75). The exploratory factor analysis revealed a unidimensional structure that explains 44% of the variability, with factor loadings greater than .50. In the dimensions of Organization, Resources, and Evaluation, significant tetrachoric correlations and acceptable internal consistency (KR-20>.65) were found. The preliminary analysis indicates that the COIE is a valid and reliable tool for assessing the state of educational innovation in educational centers.
