Virtual education has gained relevance through the use of platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Blackboard, which have optimized communication, access to educational resources and academic activities, although challenges related to connectivity and technological access persist. Therefore, this study focused on evaluating the impact of these platforms, focusing on their effectiveness, usability and student perception, to identify strengths and areas of improvement that enhance the digital teaching-learning process. Using a descriptive and analytical approach, surveys were applied to higher-level students, evaluating aspects such as communication, accessibility and general satisfaction. The results indicated that both platforms are effective in facilitating the delivery of tasks and access to resources, thanks to their intuitive and collaborative design. However, limitations were identified, such as connectivity issues and insufficient technical support. In conclusion, they constitute effective tools, although they require projects aimed at mitigating technological gaps and promoting accessibility and teacher training. Keywords: educational technologies, teaching, virtual environments, educational innovation.
