Valoración universitaria sobre el cuidado al medio ambiente en Ecuador

Abstract

El estudio universitario realizado presenta una importante valoración sobre la protección al medio ambiente; el trabajo tiene como objetivo fundamental realizar un análisis sobre los aspectos que inciden en una inadecuada protección del medio ambiente en Ecuador, específicamente en el municipio de Quevedo a partir de la instrumentación de la legislación ambiental vigente, dado por las problemáticas sociales que en este ámbito se precisan al no cumplirse con las normas legales establecidas al respecto. La investigación se desarrolla en el ámbito descriptivo con enfoque cualitativo se emplearon métodos de investigación del nivel teórico tales como: análisis- síntesis, inducción- deducción y el lógico- histórico, y desde el nivel empírico se tuvieron en cuenta la observación y revisión de documentos, y el cuestionario. Dentro de los resultados se destaca que el deterioro del medio ambiente es causa de degradación del bienestar humano en el mundo en los países subdesarrollados, como es el caso de Ecuador, ligado a la pobreza como causa y como efecto y se denota el no cumplimiento de los principios legales en materia ambiental regulados en la Constitución de la República del Ecuador y normas jurídicas dado por el grado de irresponsabilidad de las instituciones encargadas de su aplicación.

ABSTRACT

The university study carried out presents an important evaluation of the protection of the environment; the fundamental objective of the work is to carry out an analysis of the aspects that affect the inadequate protection of the environment in Ecuador, specifically in the municipality of Quevedo, based on the implementation of the environmental legislation in force, given the social problems that are required in this area due to the lack of compliance with the legal norms established in this respect. The research is developed in the descriptive field with a qualitative approach. Research methods used are the theoretical level such as: analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction and the logical-historical level, and from the empirical level, observation and document revision, and the questionnaire were taken into account. The results show that environmental deterioration is a cause of the degradation of human welfare in underdeveloped countries such as Ecuador, and that it is linked to poverty as both a cause and an effect. The results also show that the legal principles on environmental matters regulated by the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador and the legal norms are not being complied with due to the irresponsibility of the institutions in charge of their application.
