Remote work is now part of the everyday life in some organizations whose directive, administrative, or operational structure allows for it, as is the case with educational institutions. Therefore, it is important for human talent management to focus on strategies that contribute to its improvement. In light of this reality, the research aimed to fundamentally evaluate the competitive development of human talent in remote work at the private educational institution in Ecuador - Forjar, during 2023. For this purpose, a methodology with a mixed approach and cross-sectional cut was applied. The research methods used were inductive-deductive, historical-logical, and analytical-synthetic. Field data were collected through interviews with students and teachers in remote work. The results showed a significant relationship between the competitive development of teachers and the achievement of learning objectives. It was concluded that the strategies for the competitive development of teachers at Forjar are appropriate, as they have allowed 74% of students to feel satisfied with the achievement of learning objectives. However, it is still necessary to address aspects of the planning of study contents that reflect high neutrality and certain levels of dissatisfaction.
