The influence of social networks in educational institutions: an analysis of trends and behavioral patterns

Social networks have evolved to be a communication channel generating significant effects in various areas of human life. The research aims to propose the use of social networks in educational institutions in Biblián to broaden their field of attention. A mixed approach was used, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. The results reveal a mostly positive perception of the impact of social networks on educational collaboration and communication. The need to implement specific policies to regulate their use, considered beneficial by the majority, is highlighted, reflecting a proactive attitude towards technological integration. In addition, a diversity of patterns in the use and perception of social networks is observed, which highlights the importance of understanding these variations when designing educational strategies. The conclusion is to responsibly take advantage of the potential of social networks in the educational environment, recognizing their relevance and diversity of uses.
