Results of a professional experience: state of the fraternal bond of people with Prader-Willi syndrome

The research addressed a study carried out on families where the fraternal bond with a brother with Prader-Willi Syndrome is present. It arose from a personal interest of one of the families; in which later materialized as a result of scientific research with the aim of diagnosing the current state of the fraternal bond of people with Prader-Willi Syndrome through a multiple case study, which allowed the study to be extended to two other families where similar problems were detected that negatively affect family coexistence, evidencing a fraternal bond with dysfunctional. The research was considered innovative because it is the first time that this topic was discussed with these families, particularly between the sibling bond and Prader-Willi Syndrome; there it was approached with a qualitative approach; that facilitated the description of the diagnosis and based on the results found, the need to socialize them.
