Las universidades privadas en América Latina, acercamiento histórico
Abstract
En la América Latina y el Caribe el 53% de los estudiantes universitarios estudian en universidades privadas; esto representa la segunda mayor concentración mundial de este tipo de enseñanza. Un acercamiento a la historia de la aparición y desarrollo de la universidad privada en el continente y de sus consecuencias para los sistemas de educación superior se analizan en este artículo.
