The development of labor competences in the technical bachelor in tourism sales and information services are having an unfavorable impact on the employment prospects of the graduate; this is influenced, to a great extent, because the alternatives used in the conduction of the training process are limited. The objective of this paper is to study in depth the relationship between the formation of competencies through the elaboration of agro-tourism packages and their impact on the motivation for the practice of the profession; for this purpose, a didactic guide to be used by teachers and students in the teaching-learning process is proposed. The research applied a mixed quantitative-qualitative approach, it was carried out in the Educational Unit "Camilo Huatatoca" in Santa Clara city, Pastaza province, using theoretical, empirical and mathematical methods to contextualize the problem, its verification, its foundations, the elaboration of the proposal and the evaluation of its effectiveness, including the historical-logical method, document review, analysis and synthesis, interview, survey, observation and percentage analysis for the processing of the data resulting from the instruments applied, taking as a sample students, teachers and specialists in the hotel sector with professional experience. It was considered that the guide for the elaboration of agrotourism packages contributes significantly to increase the students' motivation for the exploitation of agrotourism in the city as an employment alternative for graduates, improving the relationship between employment and the formation of competencies.
