Diagnosis in the treatment of Cuban history in penitentiary centers

The systematic study of the History of Cuba in penitentiary centers is of great importance, since it responds to the principles that govern human rights by placing man at the center of attention and being in total agreement with social justice from a humanistic vision, favoring the orientation towards educational action centered on the human being, contributing to the understanding of the past and the present. Currently there are dissatisfactions related to the results of the teaching-learning process of the subject History of Cuba in the penitentiary centers of the province of Ciego de Ávila that require the need to investigate the causes, in order to project a strategy for its solution, therefore the objective of this work is to show the results of the diagnosis that corroborate the limitations in the learning of the History of Cuba in penitentiary centers. Different research methods were used such as classroom observation, interviews and surveys. The results obtained allowed to verify valuable information evidencing the deficiencies that hinder this process in the penitentiary teaching scenario.
