Educational foundations of intercultural coexistence: integration with the five pillars of 21st-Century Education

The periodization proposed in this work aimed to analyze the historical and pedagogical evolution of intercultural coexistence in the educational system. From a qualitative perspective, theoretical (historical-logical, analysis-synthesis) and empirical (documentary analysis) methods were employed. Its main contribution lies in its pioneering use of the pillars of 21st-century education as a selection criterion, thus identifying the essential milestones of this evolutionary process, which reinforces its theoretical-methodological relevance.
