Evaluation of effective strategies for the integration of ICT in Higher Education

The importance of forming competitions in the use of the TIC among the university students highlights the relevance of these abilities in its academic development and professional. The objective of the investigation is the evaluation of effective strategies for the integration of TIC in the superior education. A mixed methodological design is used that combines qualitative and quantitative focuses, to obtain an integral understanding of the use and the competitions in TIC among the university students. The participant population is university students of different abilities and study levels 200 students are selected by means of a random sampling stratified to assure the representation of diverse disciplines and academic years. In this investigation it was determined that no longer coarse for the educational ones to have competitions that it allows them to transmit knowledge, nowadays is required that the educational ones acquire and dominate digital competitions to offer the students an education more profesional and inclusive. Although a significant part of the students feels competent in the use of platforms of on-line learning, a necessity exists of improving these abilities. The universities should provide more formation and technical support to guarantee an effective and efficient use of these platforms.
