The training of music professionals must be constantly update in accordance with the work, research, and academic fields. The preparation of the musician in this artistic Pedagogical training requires integrating the learning of multiple musical instruments, multi-instrumentalism, according to the students aptitudes and degree of affection for the practice. For the comprehensive development of students with a woodwind instruments profile at the upper secondary level music, it is necessary to expand the occupational profile with the teaching of several instruments from the same family based on their future work. Deficiencies in its development are noted, and the full potential of this skills is not being utilized. The research presented aims to propose a pedagogical strategy for the development of multi-instrumentalism in the woodwind instrument profile. Theoretical methods as historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, and modeling were used; as well as empirical methods such as documentary analysis, observation, surveys, interview, and pedagogical testing, which, together with SWOT technique, facilitated an understanding of the state of development of multi-instrumentalism in contributing to the comprehensive development of the student and their performance as a future professional within the current artistic context.
