Didactic strategies for the construction of a model of mathematical simulation for Industrial Engineers
Keywords:
pedagogic barriers, didactic strategies, model of computational simulationAbstract
The present investigation has as objective: to develop didactic strategies for the teaching of mathematical computational simulation in students of Industrial Engineering starting from the software Sand. Methods: mixed focus is continued, starting from the employment of theoretical sustenance for the design of strategies and the employment of the methods of analysis synthesis and inductive deductive for the understanding of the studied phenomena. They are also used, the direct observation and the questionnaires. Results: a didactic strategy is designed, and he/she intends a group of complementary actions as support to the same one. The application of the strategy is evaluated starting from the acceptance of the same one by the group of student’s study object. Conclusions: the design of strategies focused to the study groups in function of the pedagogic identified barriers allows to promote active learning, the critical analysis and the resolution of problems what motivates in the students the application of mathematical concepts to situations of the real world and the taking of decisions favored by the interpretation of the results based on evidence.
