Multidisciplinarity from the methodology of violin and viola teaching
Keywords:
Multidisciplinarity, Music, Violin teaching, Viola teachingAbstract
The development reached by modern society in productive spheres has favored interaction between different areas of knowledge. In music, this phenomenon has accompanied humans practically since their emergence; its presence alongside dance or a stage performance is an evolutionary constant. Academic programs also show the interaction of different areas of knowledge, which contributes to a higher quality musical interpretation. This perspective led to the objective of identifying the potentialities for applying multidisciplinarity in the Academic Program for the Bachelor's Degree in Music at the Autonomous University of Zacatecas (UAZ), from the perspective of Instrument Teaching Methodology (violin/viola). The study was conducted with a mixed approach, combining analytical-synthetic methods, document analysis, pedagogical observation, and experiential learning; as a result, different disciplines that complement training according to the graduate profile were selected to identify the potentialities of multidisciplinary analysis.
