Women’s entrepreneurship and its educational impact on employment generation

This research examines the impact of female entrepreneurship on the creation of sustainable employment in the province of Bagua, Amazonas region, during 2025, with a focus on education and skills development. Female entrepreneurs are recognized not only for contributing to local economic growth but also for acting as agents of social transformation by fostering inclusion, leadership, and community resilience. The study included 108 women from sectors such as gastronomy, beauty, and retail, revealing that 63% demonstrated a high level of entrepreneurial development, generating dignified employment and strengthening management, leadership, and decision-making skills. The environmental dimension showed room for improvement, highlighting the need to integrate sustainable practices into entrepreneurial training. Results indicated a positive and significant correlation between training, socioeconomic context, and employment sustainability, confirming that education, continuous learning, and digital literacy are key factors to enhance entrepreneurship and expand job opportunities. Innovative strategies were proposed, emphasizing skills development, access to financing, digital tools, and collaborative learning, promoting the comprehensive growth of both the entrepreneurs and their communities. In conclusion, female entrepreneurship in Bagua serves as an educational platform that transcends economic outcomes, facilitating the acquisition of professional competencies, inclusive leadership, and active participation in social and community development, contributing to sustainable, equitable, and positively impactful employment in the region.
