Philosophical ethics in higher education management is the fundamental basis for educational institutions' development and operational quality. This implies incorporating ethical principles and values in decision-making and leadership in all aspects of university life. Philosophical ethics in university management faces challenges related to conflicts of interest, external pressures, and social changes, becoming a crucial aspect for the progress of higher education institutions, which requires constant reflection by university managers. These elements are evaluated from the perspective of human action, which is classified as good or bad according to the criteria adopted, considering its procedure, the inherent problem, and the conceptual position of philosophers and theories on the Good. The approach of the study is Qualitative and Documentary, whose foundation is located in the Interpretative paradigm, its purpose is to unveil the philosophical ethical vision of managers in the university context. In these historical moments of humanity, it is time to face a well-defined scheme for the philosophical ethical conception of university management, these exist in the implementation of the theory of the good, centered on the human condition, which is called to be less relativistic and dogmatic, more focused on values, on criteria and own judgments, through the exercise of reason, from the direction, planning, organization, control, and evaluation, giving way to productive university management.
