Life satisfaction among university students: A study based on network analysis
Keywords:
Student welfare, University students, Network analysisAbstract
Life satisfaction represents a subjective and important assessment of one's sense of well-being and is associated with various abilities such as self-esteem, resilience, and confidence. The main objective of this research was to estimate the psychological network of life satisfaction in university students. This research presents a cross-sectional design based on the network approach. A sample of 332 university students of both genders was evaluated. They responded to the Satisfaction Waith Life Scale (SWLS). The results showed, based on the estimated network, that elements related to the ideal, living conditions, and having achieved goals are the most closely linked and contribute to greater life satisfaction in university students, which impacts their quality of life, their professional education, and their sense of well-being.
