Financial education: concepts for practice
Keywords:

There is broad consensus that Financial Education (FE) is a strategic issue in 21st-century civic education. In recent decades, research and practical experiences worldwide have identified contextualized proposals that address the priority of these topics in personal development and the role that education must play. However, reflection on practice reveals that existing programs are still insufficient and uneven globally, leading to the question: What are the pedagogical and didactic frameworks for FE in new projects? This study was conducted through the systematization of scientific publications and the exchange of experiences among the authors. As a result of the authors' conceptual and methodological systematization, a pedagogical and didactic proposal is outlined, which should serve as a reference for new FE projects. The objective is to propose a pedagogical and didactic conception for financial education based on the systematization of theoretical and methodological positions that underpin the proposals.
