RESUMEN Desde el proceso de extensión universitaria, mediante la relación universidad-empresa, el artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación sobre las vías para favorecer la participación ciudadana de trabajadores y directivos en el fortalecimiento de la conciencia económica en la empresa estatal socialista. Fueron de utilidad para el desarrollo de la investigación métodos del nivel teórico como: El método hermenéutico, el analítico-sintético y el inductivo-deductivo. Y del nivel empírico: la entrevista y encuestas a directivos y trabajadores, la observación científica, la revisión documental y el método sistémico estructural-funcional. La investigación tiene como objetivo elaborar una estrategia de capacitación para favorecer la participación ciudadana en el fortalecimiento de la conciencia económica en la Empresa Productos Lácteos Bayamo para su protección y usufructo responsable en el contexto de la actualización del modelo. Se corroboró el valor científico y la factibilidad de la estrategia de capacitación a través de la técnica cualitativa de grupos focales, a la vez que se corrobora el papel de la responsabilidad social universitaria en el proceso de la actualización del Modelo Económico y Social Cubano de Desarrollo Socialista. ABSTRACT From the university outreach process, through university-business relationships, this article presents the results of a research project on ways to promote citizen participation among workers and managers in strengthening economic awareness at the socialist state-owned enterprise. Methods at the theoretical level, such as the hermeneutic method, the analytical-synthetic method, and the inductive-deductive method, were useful for the development of the research. Methods at the empirical level included interviews and surveys with managers and workers, scientific observation, documentary review, and the structural-functional systemic method. The research aims to develop a training strategy to promote citizen participation in strengthening economic awareness at the Bayamo Dairy Products Company for its protection and responsible use in the context of the model update. The scientific value and feasibility of the training strategy were confirmed through the qualitative technique of focus groups, while also confirming the role of university social responsibility in the process of updating the Cuban Economic and Social Model of Socialist Development. In the sixth grade of Basic General Education in Ecuadorian public schools, traditional teaching methodologies are still used, which can lead to students' poor academic performance in the subject of Language and Literature. This research, with a mixed approach, descriptive scope, and pre-test/post-test experimental design, was conducted to analyze the impact of digital narratives on the academic performance of sixth-grade students at the Juan Pío Montúfar Educational Unit. The results confirm the construct validity and internal consistency of the instrument used to assess the contribution of digital narratives to academic performance among sixth-grade students at this school. The digital narrative activities supported by the digital tools Genially and Canva, using active game-based learning (gamification) methodology, developed in the experimental group, proved to be engaging and motivating for teaching and learning in this subject, in addition to significantly impacting academic performance. The need to extend this experience to other groups at the same level and to conduct future research is recognized, both in the "Juan Pío Montúfar" unit and in other public educational institutions in Ecuador.
