Abstract

The success of all human activity rests on motivation, which is identified with the drive toward action and the pursuit of achieving objectives and goals. However, although motivation is personal and intrinsic, external conditions are necessary contexts for achieving guidance and balance in this regard. Identifying motivational flaws in the teaching-educational process was the focus of this research, whose general objective was to design a motivational workshop system for fifth-year students in the teaching-educational process at the Jaime Roldós Aguilera Educational Unit, for the 2024-2025 academic year. The study was based on a qualitative methodology that interweaves theoretical and empirical methods, assuming a three-stage process: the formation of the frame of reference; the diagnosis of intrinsic and extrinsic motivations; and, through practice, the partial and total development of the proposal. The proposal was evaluated by specialists and users, who confirmed its theoretical and practical value and urged its transformation into a relevant and transferable option within the framework of Basic General Education.
