Training in values from the Pedagogy subject in a public higher education institution in Ecuador

Current societies attach great importance to the role of education in the comprehensive training of present and future generations; For pedagogy it means the challenge of teaching knowledge, values and practical skills, to form individuals better prepared to understand the complexity of today's world and perform professionally and socially in accordance with generally accepted ethical and moral values. The present study has a mixed approach and exploratory scope, with the objective of analyzing the relationship between training in values and interactive learning, from the subject of Pedagogy in a public higher education institution in Ecuador. The results confirm the construct validity and internal consistency of the applied instrument, whose analysis allows us to reaffirm the importance of training in values from the subject of Pedagogy and relate the need to implement strategies for interactive learning for the transmission, formation and consolidation of Ethical and moral values, especially active learning methodologies and within them, the inverted classroom or flipped classroom, among other didactic methodologies mediated by digital technologies, are applied to interactive education.
