Didactic significance of oral testimony at the primary educational level

This article refers to the insufficiencies in the use of sources of historical knowledge that limit the quality of teaching cuban history at the primary educational level. In this sense, a didactic model for the formation of historical notions and representationsis offered with the use of oral testimony in the teaching-learning process of the history of Cuba at the primary educational level as the essential theoretical contribution of the research that is revealed as a construct. Didactic to energize the work with the discipline and its application strategies conceived as a praxiological instrument. It responds to the institutional Project the improvement of the direction of the pedagogical process for an inclusive, equitable and quality education in children and adolescents, also with the aim and objective of the primary school model and contributes to the transformation of the teaching-learning process of the history of Cuba.
