Abstract

The article titled: “Improving professional orientation towards basic science careers in pre-university,” addresses the importance of professional orientation in pre-university education. The authors argue that this process is crucial to helping students make informed decisions about their academic and professional future. The article proposes a methodology to improve professional orientation towards basic science careers in pre-university education. This methodology is based on philosophical, psychological, sociological and pedagogical principles and is structured in four stages: diagnosis, projection and organization, execution and evaluation. The authors conclude that the implementation of this methodology can have a positive impact on students' long-term professional satisfaction and success. Furthermore, they emphasize the need for pre-university institutions to offer high-quality career guidance services to their students.
