Improvement needs for the formation of values in Physical Education from primary education

Physical Education in its training process must fulfill its important social and educational function, for this it is necessary that the professionals who teach this discipline show a willingness to constantly prepare for the formation of values, due to the importance that this topic has in the present. This research is framed in the process of professional improvement in Physical Education teachers, from the determination of improvement needs in the formation of values of primary education and was carried out with Physical Education teachers of the primary level of Combined # 2 of the municipality of Cienfuegos, in order to determine their improvement needs, due to irregularities witnessed in the teaching-learning process at that level of education and in the improvement of those who teach the subject. The main objective of this research was to determine the needs for improvement in the formation of values from Physical Education in primary education. Historical-logical methods were used such as analytical – synthetic and inductive – deductive; empirical methods such as the survey that was applied to 12 teachers and the interview with the municipal methodologist of that level of education. The percentage analysis, within the statistical mathematical methods, which was used to evaluate the results of the survey. Triangulation was used with the objective of achieving a better assessment, thus identifying the main needs for improvement in the formation of values from the Physical Education class.
