Abstract

Due to its proclaimed benefits, generative artificial intelligence (GAI) has been gaining prominence in the teaching and learning of various subjects, including Language and Literature; however, its implementation is still slow. Therefore, this research, with a cross-sectional non-experimental design, a mixed-methods approach, and a descriptive scope, aims to develop a methodological strategy based on GII to enhance the personalized learning of Language and Literature among 7th-grade students at the Abdón Calderón Elementary School (EEB). The results demonstrated the consistency and construct validity of the applied instrument; this technology is an alternative to traditional teaching methods, offering benefits such as personalized learning, improved quality of educational processes, and optimized assessment and feedback processes. However, its progress is still slow due to distrust caused by ethical and security challenges. The proposed methodological strategy contributes to individualized learning tailored to students' needs, enhances meaningful learning, and the development of skills such as reading, writing, grammar, and reading comprehension. in addition to other benefits that influence motivation, creativity and interest in scientific inquiry in Language and Literature
