Abstract

This article presents the essential aspects of a research study on teacher preparation for addressing individual differences in fourth-grade students, specifically within the context of the Natural Sciences subject. The research was conducted using theoretical, empirical, and mathematical methods. The objective was to design a system of activities that would contribute to preparing teachers to address the individual differences of fourth-grade students in the teaching-learning process of Natural Sciences at the Juan Montalvo Educational Unit during the 2024-2025 academic year. The main results focused on: improved teacher preparation, appropriate development of actions aligned with student assessments, and an increased number of professional development activities for teachers related to: the effective use of teaching materials, learning styles, and comprehensive assessment. All of this, in turn, was reflected in improved academic results for the students, increased participation in extracurricular activities that enhance their learning, and greater motivation towards the subject.
