Abstract

The general objective of this study was to analyze the factors that determine the perception of educational quality in synchronous and asynchronous environments in a mobile application development course, given the problem of optimizing the educational experience in these contexts. The methodology applied was an exploratory factor analysis, which allowed identifying the latent structures in both environments. The research was carried out with a population of technical education students in virtual mode, selecting a representative sample to evaluate the perceived quality. As a main conclusion, two key components were identified: "Perceived Quality of the Course", which encompasses aspects such as satisfaction and clarity in the organization of the contents, and "Support and Technical Competence", focused on the interaction and support of the teacher in real time. These findings allow a better understanding of how learning modalities impact perceived educational quality and guide future improvements in these environments.
