An interdisciplinary project to motivate sixth-year students in the natural sciences subject of Basic General Education

The article briefly addresses the research developed to identify problems in the teaching-learning process of Natural Sciences, based on the low motivation of students to meet their objectives. The problematic situation revealed insufficient motivation and interest in meeting their goals, little innovative strategies and low academic results in students. Based on this situation and using theoretical, empirical and statistical methods, research with a mixed approach was developed that made it possible to determine the main causes that limit motivation and learning, and accordingly design a proposal that would allow transforming reality.
