Contemporary educational leadership operates within a framework of profound social, cultural, and technological transformations that demand new approaches to institutional management. Within this context, the role of school directors emerges as a strategic agent in guiding, motivating, and fostering pedagogical innovation that promotes inclusive and high-quality education. Innovative managerial leadership goes beyond efficient resource management; it involves building an educational project based on shared vision, active community participation, and the creation of an organizational climate that strengthens teacher creativity and student engagement. Furthermore, the ability to integrate policies, methodologies, and technological resources is essential to addressing current educational challenges in the Metropolitan District. Educational transformation requires leaders capable of inspiring and guiding meaningful changes that positively impact learning outcomes and the holistic development of students. Thus, understanding and analyzing the role of innovative managerial leadership allows the identification of effective practices that help consolidate more dynamic, resilient, and adaptive institutions to the challenges of the twenty-first century.
