In recent decades, digital platforms have taken over all spheres of social life with a great impact; however, the transition to educational activity is subject to the experiences of teachers, parents, and students regarding the possibilities they offer, especially in primary education. Beyond the information provided by research on this topic, at the 26 de Junio School in Manta, there is discussion about the possibilities of using these activities to achieve a positive influence on academic performance. However, in practice, the influence of digital platforms on academic performance is unknown. Within this framework, the need to investigate this situation was considered, which led to the formulation of a research question: How does the use of digital platforms influence the academic performance of students at the 26 de Junio School in Manta? The objective was to propose educational activities that, when using digital platforms, can positively influence the academic performance of students at the 26 de Junio School. The study focused on a theoretical analysis of the relationship between digital platforms and students' academic performance and, from this perspective, revealed the relationship between these aspects in practice. At the same time, activities are proposed that will serve as a reference for developing and adapting them to the different years of primary education.
