The objective of this study is to design a teaching manual on the curricular contents that are reflected in the study plan of the subject Theory and Practice of Golf in the Colombian university context. To develop the research, a qualitative research approach with documentary methodology was used, using document analysis, interviews, surveys, triangulation and expert criteria for the design of the manual. The findings obtained in the application of research methods and techniques (document analysis, interviews, surveys and triangulation) revealed the need to renew the golf curricular contents and a shortage of bibliographic material to teach the contents of golf. This underlines the importance of creating a didactic manual for teaching curricular content. The designed teaching manual contains the curricular contents: generalities of golf, technical foundations of golf, tactical stroke, physical abilities, organization of competition, psychological element to take into account in teaching golf, golf regulations and golf courses. According to experts, the didactic manual for teaching golf content is prepared in an attractive and useful way for both students and teachers. It contains a detailed explanation of the contents covered by the subject Theory and Practice of Golf, which makes it feasible, relevant, necessary and applicable material. In conclusion, a teaching manual is presented on the curricular contents taught in the subject Theory and Practice of Golf in Colombian universities.
